OPINION
{¶ 1} Appellant, Horace Vinson Jr., appeals from the May 3, 2007 judgment entry of the Lake County Court of Common Pleas, which denied his petition for postconviction relief. For the following reasons, we affirm.

{¶ 3} Appellant ("Mr. Vinson"), was convicted by jury of murder, in violation of R.C. 2903.02(B), with a firearm specification as set forth in R.C. 2941.145; and carrying a concealed weapon, a felony of the fourth degree in violation of R.C. 2923. 12(A)(2) for the murder of Michael Rush ("Mr. Rush").
