The Chancellor:

Bill filed January 9, 1876, against the executrix and heirs of John D. Winston, deceased, to> enforce the specific execution of a contract for the sale of' land, made between complainants and said Winston on* March 1, 1871. The contract was entered into in writing, on the last named date, and was signed by both of the complainants and by the said John D. Winston. By its terms-the complainants agreed to sell and convey to Winston, in fee-simple, with general warranty, one undivided eighth-interest in certain real estate in Grundy County, Tennessee, known as Bersheba Springs,…
