After a jury convicted Junior C. Men-teer of being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, the district court 1 sentenced him to 240 months imprisonment under the Armed Career Criminal Act (ACCA), 18 U.S.C. § 924(e), because he had three prior violent felonies.
