This was an action by a widow to recover damages for the alleged wrongful death of her husband resulting from a collision of an automobile, driven by the deceased, with the rear end of a slowly moving truck. Judgment went for plaintiff, and the de*825fendants, Harry Sargent, the driver of the truck, and H. W. Knupp and Sons Construction Company, a corporation, owner of the truck, have appealed.

The plaintiff has cross-appealed from the order overruling her motion to set aside the verdict as to the amount only, which was in the sum of $3,500, and…
