The respondent father2 appeals from the judgment of the trial court terminating his parental rights with respect to his minor child, Shane P. He claims that (1) the court’s finding that he abandoned Shane constituted an unconstitutional deprivation of due process, (2) the court improperly found that he failed to achieve sufficient personal rehabilitation, (3) the statutory grounds of abandonment and failure to achieve rehabilitation pursuant to General Statutes (Rev. to 1997) § 17a-112, as bases for the termination of parental rights, are unconstitutionally vague as applied…
