McCULLOUGH, Judge.

*660 Wesley Patterson ("defendant") appeals from judgments entered upon his convictions for breaking and entering, habitual larceny, and for attaining habitual felon status. For the following reasons, we find no error.

I. Background

On 27 January 2014, a Mecklenburg County Grand Jury indicted defendant in file number 14 CRS 201911 on one count of felonious larceny for stealing a laptop computer and iPad valued in excess of $1,000.00.
