This appeal seeks reversal of judgment rendered upon the verdict of a jury in favor of the defendants and against the plaintiff in an action upon certain promissory notes, and for foreclosure of a real estate mortgage securing the same.
As a defense to the action the defendants pleaded payment of the notes, and at the trial introduced in evidence receipts signed by P. H.
