VI. CONCLUSION We find no abuse of discretion by the district court in its procedures for determining the admissibility of evidence of Valverde’s prior sexual assaults. Because Valverde moved for a mistrial before any evidence of the prior sexual assaults had been adduced, the district court did not abuse its discretion in overruling the motion. Finally, we find no reversible error by the court in the jury instructions that it gave or in the rejection of Valverde’s proposed instructions. Accordingly, we…
