P. E. Schow and Brothers sued Oscar J. Bea in the Justice’s Court to recover two bales of cotton, or their value, and at the same time sued out a writ of sequestration by virtue of which the cotton was seized. In the Justice’s Court it appears that the plaintiffs sued, alleging both that they were the owners of the cotton, and that they had a mortgage lien thereon, and that the defendant had converted the same to his own use.
