Appeal by Eric F., by permission, from an order of the County Court, Orange County (Freehill, J.), dated June 24, 2015, which, after an initial hearing pursuant to CPL 330.20 (6), found that he suffered from a dangerous mental disorder and that the safety and welfare of the community and the defend ant required that he be treated in a secure facility, and directed that he be committed to a secure facility for a period not to exceed six months pursuant to CPL 330.20 (1) (f).
