Appeal from Twenty-Sixth Judicial District Court, Parish of Washington; Joseph B. Lancaster, Judge. Albert Garner was convicted of manslaughter, and appeals.

Defendant prosecutes this appeal from a conviction of manslaughter, under an indictment for murder, and a sentence of imprisonment, at hard labor, for ten *750years, and he presents his case to this court upon the following bills of exception, to wit:

[1] Bills 1 and 2, which show: That, in examining two of the persons called to serve as jurors, the district attorney asked them:

“If the state proves its case beyond a reasonable doubt, would you bring in a verdict, guilty as charged?”
