Caruthersville is the county seat of Pemiscot county, the southeast county of Missouri. The Pemiscot County Bank was organized there, and at the times here material William A. Ward was its president and A. C. Tindle its cashier. Mr. Tindle was a stockholder, president, and general manager of the People’s Gin Company and a stockholder in the Missouri Cotton Oil Company and the Tindle *393Cotton Company.
