PARKER, Circuit Judge.
Defendant-Appellant Sean Kirkham appeals from a judgment of conviction entered May 1, 1998, in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York (Sterling Johnson, Jr., Judge), upon the entry of his plea of guilty. Kirk-ham was convicted on a one-count information charging him with making false statements to FBI and DEA agents, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1001, and on a one-count indictment charging him with failing to appear for sentencing, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 3146(a)(1).
