MAGILL, Circuit Judge.

Douglas Greg Cornelius appeals the district court’s enhancement of his sentence for being a career offender under § 4B1.1 of the Sentencing Guidelines. United States Sentencing Commission, Guidelines Manual (Nov. 1990). After a jury convicted Cornelius of being a felon in possession of a firearm in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g), the district court sentenced him to 120 months’ imprisonment, determining that his conviction was for a crime of violence under U.S.S.G. § 4B1.1.
