Pro se plaintiff Jorge Castro Maisonet (“Maisonet”) brought this action against his former employer, Metropolitan Hospital Center (“MHC”) and the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation (collectively, “Defendants”) 1 , alleging that Defendants discriminated against him on the basis of his race and disability, in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (“Title VII”), 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000e to 2000e-17, and the American with Disabilities Act of 1990 (the “ADA”), 42 U.S.C. §§ 12112 to 12117.
