¶ 1. Javier Bedolla contends that because he was never advised of the risk of deportation at the time of entering his no contest plea to second-degree sexual assault of a child, the trial court erred by denying the motion to withdraw his plea. The circuit court held that since there was an immigration detainer placed on him in another case prior to his plea, the failure to give the deportation warning had no impact on his immigration status.
