OPINION

RABINOWITZ, Chief Justice.

Michael M. Bangs appeals from his conviction of second degree murder and his sentence of fifteen years imprisonment. We affirm both Bangs’ conviction and the superior court’s sentence.

At the time the homicide occurred, Bangs and his wife had resided at the Lavion Rose Trailer Court in Anchorage for approximately nine months. During this time they had had little contact with Troy Troyer, owner-manager of the trailer court and the victim of the shooting.
