A boxing promoter seeks to recover from the District Court’s knockout punch aimed, and delivered, at the enforceability of its promotional agreement. Banner Promotions, Inc. entered into a promotional agreement with boxer Antwun Echols, the terms of which left Echols’s compensation for participating in bouts secured by Banner subject to negotiation between the two parties, and to renegotiation under certain circumstances.
