Morris Lockett (“Defendant”) appeals from his conviction of burglary in the second degree and stealing a firearm. A jury convicted Defendant of burglary in the second degree, Section 569.170, 1 and stealing a firearm, Section 570.030. Defendant was sentenced as a prior and persistent offender, to two consecutive terms of fifteen years’ imprisonment. On appeal, Defendant alleges that the trial court erred in overruling Defendant’s hearsay objections and allowing Sergeant Wallingsford (‘Wallingsford”) to testify to statements made to her by Peggy Rosenthal…
