Plaintiffs appeal as of right from the circuit court’s order granting defendants’ motion for summary disposition and dismissal pursuant to MCR 2.116(C)(6).

This action arises from an investigation of plaintiff Anthony Darin conducted by defendant Oakland County Department of Social Services (Oakland County dss) and the Macomb County Prosecutor following defendant Dorothy Darin’s reporting to the Oakland County dss that her daughter had complained of sexual abuse by plaintiff Anthony Darin (Dorothy’s ex-husband and the girl’s father).
