This appeal is from a directed verdict for the defendant in an action upon a policy or certificate of life insurance. The deceased was formerly -a member of the Woodmen of the World fraternal order and was solicited for reinstatement by a representative of the insurer in April 1949. This representative or agent was called as a witness by the defendant and testified-that he had been a fellow employee in a cotton mill and worked part time for the defendant as a solicitor.
