Kelly Jay Lawrence appeals his convictions for first-degree premeditated murder, aggravated battery, two counts of aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm. He argues the trial court erred in (1) excluding evidence of a prior shooting in which the defendant was the victim and (2) not instructing the juiy to deliberate premeditation and imperfect self-defense at the same time.
