Appellee, Murray Williams, a minor, by his father and next friend, E. L. Williams, brought this action in the circuit court of Lafayette county against appellant, the Illinois Central Railroad Company to recover damages for a personal injury received by appellee, alleged to have been caused by the negligence .of appellant, and recovered judgment in the sum of twenty thousand dollars. From this judgment appellant prosecutes this appeal.
