Plaintiff sued to recover damages for personal injuries alleged to have been caused by defendant’s negligence. On trial before the court without a jury, judgment was rendered for plaintiff, and defendant appeals.

October 8,1937, plaintiff was engaged in the business of selling and repairing* gasoline pumps used by service stations. He was called to repair a pump at a station owned by Westgate & Beynolds located about a mile east of the city of Holland, on the north side of M-21.
