This is an appeal from two decrees of the Circuit Court of Albemarle.,county, and the case presented is as follows:

In 1848 George Carr and William P. Farish bought a certain lot on Court street, now Forth Fifth street, in the city of Charlottesville,' Va., from the executor of John Winn, deceased. Upon this lot, and a short time' after their purchase, Carr and Farish built a brick house containing two office rooms separated by a passage way, each office opening into the passage by a door, and the passage way being the only way of access to the…
