McCALEB, Justice.

Alex Ash was charged in a bill of information with committing simple burglary of a .building known as Mallett’s Men’s Wear in violation of R.S. 14:62. He pleaded not guilty- and, after a trial commencing on February 12, 1970 and concluded on the following day, the jury returned a verdict of: guilty. During this trial Ash, through his counsel, reserved fourteen bills of exceptions. On April 6, 1970 the trial judge sentenced him to serve six years in the Louisiana State Penitentiary and defendant,' thereupon, filed a motion of appeal to this Court. The application was granted,…
