OPINION AND ORDER

CLARKE, District Judge.

Plaintiff brought suit pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983 alleging a deprivation of her constitutional rights for incidents which occurred while she was confined as an inmate at the Goochland Correctional Center for Women.

This matter came to trial before the Court with a jury. Although there was little dispute as to the facts underlying plaintiff’s claims, taking the evidence in a light most favorable to the plaintiff reveals the following events occurred.
