This case came on for trial before the court and a jury and resulted in a verdict in favor of the plaintiffs for the sum of $1,466.44. Upon the rendition of the verdict the defendant immediately moved to set the same aside as contrary to the law, contrary to the evidence and upon all the grounds set forth in section 549 of the Civil Practice Act, which motion the court entertained. It appears from the facts herein that about the 30th day of January, 1920, the plaintiffs purchased from the defendant the chassis of a certain motor truck, including motor and a steel cab; for the sum of $3,449,…
