STERNBERG, Judge.

The defendant, Frank E. Hawkins, appeals from the judgment of conviction entered on jury verdict finding him guilty of sexual assault on a child. We affirm.

The victim was 14 years old at the time of the assault. Defendant allegedly picked up the victim at her aunt’s house to take her home and, after obtaining the victim’s mother’s permission to take the victim to get a soft drink, drove her instead to a nearby park where the assault occurred. In her trial testimony, the victim stated when she resisted defendant’s advances, he grabbed her by the hair and forced her to perform…
