On July 26, 1972, a jury awarded plaintiffs $20,000, and found for defendants on their counterclaim in the amount of $400. Defendants appeal from the judgment entered pursuant to the jury’s verdict, and no cross-appeal has been made on the award to defendants.

Before discussing the numerous allegations of error raised by defendants, it will be necessary to examine the facts out of which the instant suit arose. Some time previous to September 20, 1969, plaintiffs responded to a newspaper advertisement of the Benjamin Rich Realty Company, seeking to invest some money in an apartment building.…
