—In an action to recover damages for wrongful death and conscious pain and suffering, the defendant James M. Callichio appeals, as limited by his brief, from so much of a judgment of the Supreme Court, Nassau County (Molloy, J.), dated June 23, 1986, as, upon a jury verdict, is in favor of the plaintiff and against him in the principal sum of $335,000 ($35,000 representing damages for conscious pain and suffering and $300,000 representing damages for wrongful death), and the plaintiff cross-appeals from so much of the same judgment, as, upon a jury verdict, is in favor of the defendants…
