GIVAN, Justice.

A jury trial resulted in a conviction of appellant of the crime of Child Molesting, a Class B felony, for which he received an enhanced sentence of twelve (12) years.

The facts are: In the summer of 1986, the victim was eleven years old. She, her mother, and her siblings lived across the street from appellant, who was her father's cousin. The families visited with each other frequently. The victim testified that on one occasion she went to appellant's house to get cigarettes for her mother, and while there, appellant threw her on a bed and started removing her clothing. The…
