AREND, Justice.

This case involves two actions which were consolidated for trial below and on appeal here. In the first action J. J. Robin-ette as plaintiff sued to recover from the defendant, Chirikoff Island Cattle Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Chirikoff Corporation), on a claim in the sum of $4,095.18 for loans made by him to the defendant, and on another claim for $4,000 representing wages allegedly earned by the plaintiff as an employee of the defendant. 1 The second action pertained to the wage claim of Harold A. Kenny against Chiri-koff Corporation for the sum of $10,891.66.…
