— Appeal by defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Brennan, J.), rendered April 17, 1980, convicting him of robbery in the first degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence. Judgment reversed, as a matter of discretion in the interest of justice, and new trial ordered. Defendant was found guilty of charges stemming from a robbery at a Key Food supermarket in Queens County. The cashier from whom the money was taken testified at trial that immediately after the robbery she gave *1004the police a description of the physical appearance and dress of the perpetrator. The…
