The First Trust & Savings Bank of Sibley, Iowa, opened for business on June 2, 1919, and continued until the 4th day of August, 1922. On that date it was closed by the banking department and placed in charge of present receiver. The intervener holds five certificates of deposit, amounting to a sum total of $4,500. Four of these certificates are for $1,000 each, and one of them for $500. Each of the $1,000 certificates bears date March 1, 1921. The $500 certificate bears date February 4, 1922. Each certificate was drawn payable to the order of intervener:
