This case involves plaintiffs claim that he contracted AIDS after taking anti-hemophiliac factor (AHF), a medicine prescribed for the treatment of hemophilia, and manufactured by the defendant, Armour Pharmaceutical Company (Armour). The question before the court is whether N.J.S.A 2A:14-26.1 (the Act) which effectively extended the limitations period for certain civil suits against the proprietary plasma processors (the fractionators) is constitutional.
