The plaintiff Bosemarie Baia brought an action to recover damages for injuries she suffered when her husband’s motor vehicle which she was operating struck a bridge abutment. The plaintiff Francis Baia sought recovery for damage to his motor vehicle and for wages lost because he was required to care for his wife. The plaintiffs alleged that the negligence of the defendant Harry C. Topehius in operating a motor vehicle owned by the defendant Alfred Tanguay caused the aforementioned injuries and damages.
