This suit arises out of plaintiff Jennifer Moran’s (“Moran”) allegations of gender and pregnancy discrimination against her former employer. The matter is presently before the Court on a motion by defendant GTECH Corporation (“GTECH”) to dismiss certain counts of Moran’s multi-count complaint. Specifically, GTECH seeks dismissal of the claims brought pursuant to the Rhode Island Parental and Family Medical Leave Act (Count II), 1 the Rhode Island Civil Rights Act of 1990 (Count V-A), 2 and 42 U.S.C. §§ 1985(3) and 1986 (Counts VI-A and VII). 3 For the…
