This is a suit instituted by ap-pellee against R. H'. McCracken and Lillie D. McCracken, his wife, to obtain a judgment proving certain alleged extensions of a debt and vendor’s lien executed by R. H. McCracken. It was alleged:

That on February 1, 1910, R. H. McCracken executed a promissory note to appellee for $6,000, payable one year after date, in which it was recited that the note was given for the purchase money of a certain parcel of land in the city of San Antonio, Tex., which was that day conveyed to said R.
