MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER
BUCKLO, District Judge.
This opinion discusses attorneys’ fees and costs in a large class action lawsuit. Synthroid is the brand name of a synthetic version of levothyroxine sodium, a drug used to treat thyroid disorders. In 1990, Betty J. Dong, a pharmacy professor at the University of California, San Francis co, wrote a report for Knoll Pharmaceutical Company concluding that there were cheaper drugs that were bioequivalents.
