This action was instituted by the appellee against the appellant, the Missouri Valley Bridge & Iron Company, a Kansas corporation. The appellee alleged that on the 13th day of January, 1921, the corporation was constructing a barge on the Arkansas River at the foot of North Commerce Street in the city of Little Rock, Arkansas; that the appellee was an employee of the corporation as foreman in charge of a crew of workmen upon said barge; that while so employed the appellee, on account of the carelessness and negligence of the corporation and one of its employees, a, member of the crew, was…
