Cross appeals from an order of the Supreme Court (White, J.), entered May 18, 1989 in Montgomery County, which, inter alia, partially granted defendants’ motion to dismiss two causes of action in the complaint for failure to state a cause of action.
Plaintiff is a 38-year-old college graduate with a degree in economics who lived and worked on his parents’ farm. He was befriended by defendants, who are also farmers and with whom he had transacted farming business.
