Vickers v. Robinson

At the appearance term the defendant filed his plea to the jurisdiction. It was alleged in the plea that at the time of the commencement of the suit, and ever since, the defendant has resided in Washington County, and has not during such time resided in Johnson County; that the superior court of the former county has jurisdiction of the ease, and the superior court of the latter county, in which the action was brought, has not jurisdiction.
