This is an appeal from a summary judgment for one defendant in a case involving a medical malpractice claim brought pursuant to the Alabama Medical Liability Act and a products liability claim brought pursuant to the Alabama Extended Manufacturer's Liability Doctrine. Yvonne Beverly, minor daughter of Mary Beverly, came to Cooper Green Hospital in Jefferson County, Alabama, in labor, on January 2, 1983.
