CARTER, Judge.

Defendant, William E. Edwards, Jr., was charged by bill of information with driving a motor vehicle while intoxicated, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:98, and with improper lane usage, a violation of LSA-R.S. 32:79. Defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge of driving while intoxicated.1 He was tried before a jury2 and found guilty of both offenses.
