This is an interlocutory appeal in which plaintiffs seek reversal of the trial court’s order denying their motion to dismiss defendants’ counterclaims. After due consideration of the relevant case law, we reverse the trial court’s decision and remand for entry of an order pursuant to MCR 2.116(C)(8), by which defendants’ counterclaims against plaintiff parents and plaintiff minor child shall be summarily dismissed as nonactionable.
