Appellants were indicted and convicted in the circuit court of Copiah county of the crime of assault and battery, with intent to kill and murder one Vardaman Greer, for which they were sentenced to tlie penitentiary for a term of ten years. From that judgment they prosecute this appeal.
The principal evidence for the state was that of the injured man, Yardaman Greer. Appellants, as witnesses in their own behalf, denied guilt, and introduced ldns-people and others to establish an alibi. The evidence was sufficient to sustain the conviction.
