This appeal arises out of a lawsuit filed in May, 1980, in which plaintiffs Cynthia and John Roller and their daughter Anne Elizabeth Roller allege that Mrs. Roller’s ingestion during the first trimester of her pregnancy of the anti-nausea drug Bendectin, which is manufactured by the defendant, caused the severe limb malformations with which her daughter was born.
