STORCKMAN, Presiding Judge.

This suit is for the condemnation of land to be used as a site for water storage, pumping, and distribution facilities. The plaintiff is a public municipal corporation organized under Chapter 247, RSMo 1959, V.A.M.S., for the purpose of supplying water to the public. The land taken consists of three lots in the southeast corner of defendant’s platted subdivision. The commissioners appointed by the trial court made a damage award of $20,300 and both parties filed exceptions. The jury awarded damages in the amount of $28,215.
