This litigation grew out of a series of complicated transactions connected with a sale of three cash registers by a New York firm to defendant William Wilier, shipment thereof via plaintiff-carrier, and a suit and recovery by the shipper against the carrier. This suit by the carrier against the purchaser-consignee resulted in summary judgment in favor of plaintiff for a part of its claim, and defendants have.appealed.
